Through my years of performing, teaching and directing ensembles I've always found that no matter what note you play or how many notes, every note has to sing. D'addario reeds sing. D'Addario reeds and products have become an essential part of my sound. They consistently allow me to create that sound in a wide variety of musical situations. I use them on all my Saxophones.

Born in Houston, Texas Lloyd started music at an early age has developed into a versatile jazz and R&B performer. A graduate of Grambling State University (B.S. Music Education) he studied with William Wiley Sr. who greatly influenced his musicianship and musical outlook. Music Educator, BMI Music writer & Publisher, member TBME, TMEA,TJEA , JEN, NARAS, Kappa Kappa Psi, Phi Mu Alpha and a former Houston Cultural Arts Council member, Lloyd is a performer, teacher and Clinician. Retired Director at Parker Music Academy (Houston I. S. D.) an award winning Band program, 2002 winner Of the Grammy Signature School Award. He now focuses on performing, education and writing new music. Currently Board President of Houston's Jazz Education Inc, Lloyd teaches private lessons, performs and directs several music ensembles. Lloyd’s current group Collector’s Item is an ensemble with a sound that’s swinging saxophone Artist., funky, jazzy and soulful. He performs with national and local artists and is a Rheuben Allen saxophone artist.
